according to most articles, the sting ray barb entered his chest around his heart, but the video didnt show him aggrevating the ray, he just swam over the top of it.
also some says that his last movements show him pulling the barb out of his chest, which caused more damage that putting it in did, but it punctured his heart, so once it was out he bled to death

I was watching "Animal Planet" this week and saw
"My Daddy the Crocodile Hunter" has anyone else seen this????
little Bindi Sue is so much like her father and she is so confident!
made me have tears in my eyes..
if you haven't seen this yet lookout for it all!!!!!
Steve really loved his Kids and wife and its such a tragedy what happened to him, his shows will live on and so will he!!!!!!
