I Agree mate, i purchased the w950i in good faith from o2 believeing it to have both rss feeds and office functions, as advertised on se's website and o2's. yet here i am with a product which isn't as advertised!!

I have absolutely no reason why they remove this function, however they also don't support Push mail for the W950i (Orange) which is another required feature for me.

It's rediculous, hence why debranding is so popular.

When my M600i was Orange branded I had RSS feeds + Push Mail (blackberry) :s.

This is specific to Orange and the M600i, they offer exchange activesync and blackberry service for this, however have removed this from all W950i's for some reason.

Most of the PDA phones come without RSS feeds it's only some that have been coming with it.

In Multimedia =>

There should be =>

- Application Shop
- RSS Feeds
- PlayNow (TM)
- Picture Gallery

Most of these services are removed in branded software, each SP removes different ones.

P990i are easier than M600i so don't worry all will be well. The easiest to flash is W950i however none of them offer any difficulties. Have faith it's not a difficult process and I am sure that you will have no issues.

Out of the 117 P990i's we have done, only 4 have had issues, which have been Sony Errors, and the phones have been replaced by SE.
