@alexho. it does say "purchase" on that display so I'm assuming that Australia is not one of the 100-150 countries included?
or perhaps only few of the 100-150 countries included are in fact free? and the rest must be paid for?
The N95 site really doesn't seem to say much about this

Hi Alex,
Are you saying to get the voice directions activated for three years it only costs £47.68 as if so the pricing is very competitive as i thought you had to pay on a per use basis. In which case i do think that is very cheap in comparison to buying the stand alone software as i am sure i will need to replace my Tom Tom software within 3 years and that will cost nearly double.
Although i would like to see it in action to see if it is as good as Tom Tom as i really do rate Tom Tom highly, but i do think i prefer a separate GPS receiver.

Hi Marc,
I think tomtom would be a better choice for navigation alone cause u could get more add on service than the N95. Although I would be happy to the N95 GPS system.

Hi Alex,
I am not talking about a separate device as i use Tom Tom on the N93 and don't use any of the extras other than the Poi's for Speed Camera's and activate the Poi's occasionally if i need petrol or cash. I still think that is a really good deal though in fact i think it's really cheap basically an extra £15 a year for Sat Nav is hard to beat.
E-Mail sent already.
Marc

Hi Marc,
Sorry about that

I think it's a good deal for 3 years cause u don't have to carry a seperate GPS receiver with the N95. Cheers for the email as well!
Alex

Love this phone, wish I had some way of being able to afford it though
Still....I guess I can keep watching the video reviews over and over again
i am sure the price will go down a bit in the future! Maybe u should consider the Voda 500 tariff caost £35 a month and the phone would be free. I must admitted I really like this phone. It becomes my main phone now!
Wouldn't mind doing that m8 but:
I have no job/income
I currently spend about £3 a month on calls and texts from my mobile.
So you can see why it just wouldn't be worth it
I finish school this year (even though i then go back for yet more education) so will be looking for a job...will also be able to drive before the summer...so i'll have more money and a use for the sat nav as i'll be driving long journeys.
So the phone might be worth it's value to me then.
Till then i'll just have to be jelous

For those of you waiting for photos. Here are some photos I took with my N95. No pre-processing whatsoever. Default camera setting (i.e. click and snap).
The quality of the camera is very good. I would say the quality exceeds N73. There is very little sharpening effect and has low noise level. Color is natural.

Afternoon:

Photo taken in complete dark room. See how powerful the flash. And notice how good the color reproduction.

Quality speaks for itself

Just like to clarify that the maps are free to download and to plot routes on. It costs only to use turn-by-turn directions or city guides. The australia map is split into west (15mb) and east (61mb) and are free to download.

I just got back from Staples Corner where there is a CPW and they told me they cannot sell them until tomorrow but I did get to see one and I have to say I'm very very tempted
an example cpw price is £99.99 on a t-mobile web'n'walk contract for £42.50/month
they do have it available free on higher plans or £499 sim free which beats expansys sim free price easily at £630!
edit: ok, thanks for the extra detail there. cpw say the mapping has a free 3 year subscription
