@qvilorio
our local SP offers the same service, albeit not free. to send an SMS as an email, we usually just type it in as a regular SMS, but there's format we have to follow, and we have to send it to a particular number.
Any SMS app for palm is capable of doing so. It's regular SMS anyway.
I hope I understood what you meant.
(I dont use SMS to Email service of my SP, though I tried it before. 160 chars is way too short for my email. And too expensive for such a short message)

GOwin thanks, downloaded the demo version, it does note work, and too complicated, unlike the program like my brother has for his ipaq 3870. he can switches almost everything eg. tv, cd player, air-con unit with his ipaq remote, we turned off the tv while waiting in the doc's clinic... hehee
cheers

What I want to do? Synchronize calendar, contacts; doing WAP on a bigger screen.
So how to connect these two devices together?

I know this is an old post, but if you're still interested in syncing your Palm Calendar with a T39 the extndsys software does that.
the url is:
http://www.extendedsystems.com/ESI/default.htm
It's pricey; but the Sony CLIE site has a 10% discount code if you are interested.

check on Palm Gear:

it's a nice program, but the IR on most Palms is so weak that you have to be so close to the tv to make it work that it generally isn't worth it.
the sony clie comes with a proprietary remote function that works great for most standard brands (including non-sony). sony boosts the IR beam so it works from a normal distance.
