Differencies between W960i and P1i:

- 8GB internal memory instead of expandable M2

- No IR-Port on W960i

- Keyboard design / solution

- Touchscreen

- Walkman Touch PlayerŽ (Not Walkman Player 3.0!)

All other specs are the same. And yes, the W960i also has the business card reader.

My recommendation is to read the whitepaper of the latest announced phones. http://developer.sonyericsson.com/getDocument.do?docId=96058
Just fill in the code, confirm and download the whole pdf file

You can find the information about the business card reader at the end of page 30 / 81.

I'm just bummed about the placement of the escape or back button; do to scroll wheel on the left edge of device.

I know that both have a touchscreen. What I meant was the difference between those two touch screen technologies.

Oooh...oooh...oooh...

what IS the difference between the 2 touchscreens found on the P1i and the W960?

As far as I can tell, the W960 touchscreen has been refined to accept finger touches (and not just finger-nail) ...
