I'm not a deist myself, but belief in God or some other supernatural being is more understandable than not accepting evolution. The existence of God can neither be proven or disproven so it remains an open question; the best one can do is say that one either believes in God or one does not. When it comes to evolution there is evidence available that one can examine thus it becomes more a matter of ignoring the evidence if one does not accept the theory of evolution.

everyone knows that god is a pebble on the beach
. the point to note here is, is that there is just as much evidence for him/her/it being a pebble on the beach as there is for what the bible portrays him/her/it as.

If you want a prof for that, just look at the differences between spoken Arabic today and Arabic in Quran. You can clearly see the difference. You see Quran was kept through all this years because people memorized it, these people are called Hafiz. So Arabic language kept changing over the years, but Quran stayed the same. I converted to Islam 4 years ago, and I'm thankfull to Allah almighty for showing me the right way. I don't mean to insult anyone by my statements, every one has a right to believe in whatever they want, I'm just thankfull I'm a Muslim and I know the truth.

As I understand the original version of the Quran is still around, so the Quran has not changed since it was written buy Mohammad’s publishes (?). But unfortunately its interpretation has (many a time, hence all the different Islamic sects).

yes, exactly, and bible also has original texts, older than Islam, and scholars have argued for centuries over the correct interpretation.
btw, my mother is eternal also, she was the first person, she immaculately conceived me. As the thread title asks, was Adam the first "man"? He wasn't, I was. No one said anything about the first woman
