Does your phone break when you smash it with a hammer? My does. Should I get a new one?

Don't take it personally!

Without a definite metering to give you a precise answer I can only give you my impression. Coming from the W810i I have found the loudspeaker on the K850i to be very impressive. Not only is the volume satisfyingly high, but the clarity is most impressive too - well done SE I say!

I received my K850i phone from O2 last week and am having real problems with the camera. The pictures seem fine in the daylight when the flash isnt needed, but any time the flash goes off the pictures are either very dark or completely black.
I previously had the K800 with the 3.2 mp camera on it and found this to be very good for all types of pictures. I use my phone often to take pictures when on nights out and thought by getting the next model up from my current k800 I'd get better quality pictures but this just isnt the case.
I took my phone into the 02 store and they didnt have any to compare with so I have sent it back as faulty and am waiting on a replacement.
Has anyone else experienced an issue with a faulty flash or poor pictures in darker conditions?

@phil
your phone is/was phone. Refer to the leaflet included in the box from

telling you how to hold the phone when taking a photo. Put simply, dont cover the back part of the phone at all!

K850i has a few sensors on the back and if you don't hold the phone correctly when taking a picture you end up with that result you have described above.

@ NEBBS
my k850i does the same
if i press it where you pressed it in the pic the same happens
and if i press the C putton (next to the END CALL button) it does the same but at the bottom of the screen
although not as much
i thought my phone may have had that problem aswell
at least i no somebody else has the same problem so it problem is something all of them have but maybe some people dont press their phones buttons very hard
other k850i users try pressing the C button and see if you see the LCD screen ripples look-a-likes on your k850i
@ phil
did you take the sticky plastic off the back of the phone
thats a problem causer
