@PK:
Is there any stylus included with the X1, or is the stylus just "old-fashion"?

Uhh, what's wrong with emoticons? Even people over 75+ likes it.
It's cute.

It's a WM device, that's why it only uses screen with 65k colors.

Impossible. WM does not support more than 65K colors.

Sorry ... I'm laid up with a nasty cold and so don't have anythign better to do than be online ... I'm just kind of disappointed, I guess. I've really been wanting a new SE phone to get super excited about - I was really hyped for p3i and a little underwhelmed when it actually came out. And now SE's launched something entirely new and it's going to be hampered by Windows Mobile, and not out for probably 6-9 months.

Besides, I'm interested in finding out what people really think about the new devices, and not just hearing fanboys blindly say "My brand rulez!"

Hmm. Interesting stuff... Its brought me out of my lurking to post! Its a beautiful phone device.

Questions for anyone who might have played with one (I'm looking at PK here... )

1: What is an "optical joystick" and how does it work? Is it like a d-pad, or a laptop scroll pad, or something completely different?

2: aGPS - is that true GPS, or some kind of fakery? They don't talk about it much on the min-site or the main specs page.

3: I can't see any scroll wheel in the pic - has that gone entirely? (I use my P-phones as ebooks, hold in one hand, scroll page with wheel... wondering if the X1 can do this?)

I'd really like a UIQ device with similar hardware specs - still fingers crossed for the P5.

I hope SE can get the build quality and support right on the X1, I'm having a lot of problems with a dodgy P990 that they are refusing to repair... might put me off buying anything from them in the future, no matter how sexy it looks.
