I haven't had much time to play with the phone, but the first impression is good. I think you will find it in the stores here i Norway any days now.

How are the qwerty softkeyboard? Can you "tap" it with your fingers or is it too small to do that?

According to what is being said on the SE rumors thread, G900 is now shipping in some countries...i guess Monday it will be in stores.

Can i please ask the first g700 and g900 owners to try and get a copy of z drive and c drive content (using UIQ3 hack procedure)??? I am curious to see what of the new stuff can be ported to the other UIQ3 phones

Yeah please people do so. I have to chose between G900 an P1. And if the panels could be ported to P1, i will buy P1 instead of G900 because it is cheaper and has bigger screen, qwerty and more content like the desk stand or the 512mb M2.

Also live pics of this handset would be good, in different menus and also first impressions of speed and performance.

Thanks

G900 is out in Sweden,
around 3500 Sek
That's nice price for a phone with that spec

that translates into around $600 USD, which does not sound reasonable
~$500 would be more appropriate

I'm getting increasingly worried about the camera quality of the G900.

This site http://www.sotovik.ru/catalog[....]Compare-N82-G900-F490-rev.html shows a camera shoot-out between the N82, the Samsung F490 and the SE G900 and I find the G900 picture quality simply unacceptable.

Of course, there will be the usual yadda yadda about the camera quality being improved in commercial units, but there's such a long way to go that I doubt it will be any good in the end... a shame really.

benitorios: Have a look at the sample shots of a retail G900 here.
