oil painting effect:

mlkj. thanks for always posting full-size. it really makes the whole-thing become more balanced.
it's similar to k850 when taking shots indoors (not much light).
and how do you mean that BOTH k850 and C902 uses same post-processing/noise reduction... its quite big different between k850 & c902, their balance between noise and colors-saturation has been improved quite much.
hmmm.. fyi, i never mentioned about k850/c902 color saturation.
i did mention about
c905 colors saturation, but not in a comparison with any of both phones saturation. ~_~ coz i know c902 improves well in the term of colors saturation (than k850).

what do you expect. some DSLR quality. when you talking about oil painting effect, it should be on many more pictures then some lonely indoor pic. OK !
so once again, where is the oil painting "look" on the outdoor, low light, etc, etc.. it looks quite clean for me in full size.
on topic:
is 8510 first out with "automatic panorama mode"... thats sound really cool. does anyone have some info about that. (i really want a camera who take knife-sharp panorama)

My cyber shop T100 gives the exact same oil effect when pics are taken indoor without a lot of light. It happens when the ISO becomes too high for the camera to handle and it is PERFECTLY normal even for a stand alone digital camera, let alone a phone camera.

Gotta admit, though, the Samsung takes quality pics. And that panorama shoot mode isn't too shabby at all.

the EXIF clearly tells that the zoom ratio: 1.
please, please make sure that you didn't give wrong informations.
it's not zoomed. it's 100% crop. don't u know the difference between both terms?

in some digicam yes such in some ixus, or else. i agree, the problem exists.
but there are many cams that doesn't have the issue as well.
for example, you can try at ixus 430.
it's only 4MP but really sharp. phone cam? try to look samsung g600 in
Sassho's gallery here.
however, due to the topic, i feel and
am just entitled to tell my opinion, that c905 doesn't suffer too much of the oil-painting effect issue as much as k850/c902 do. that i feel, c905 has better details, not only because it has larger resolution, but also because of the less of oil-painting effects.

No no no, i not defend my N82 in to the death... because i know this model isnt perfect and have a little problem (all phones have)...
