Hello, new here on this forum.

I own a G900 and I just installed the camera mod.

Safe to say that it works, renames pics, and video fps is definately higher.

It's 4AM right now, so it's too dark to take any sample pictures, I will soon.

Do you just paste 10208696.txt into C:/private/10202be9 and then restart the G900?

yes as simple as that.....

the color-shapness-... of pics and videos will be the same.... this file just contain the files required for the camera operation.... like video fps... number of burst shots.... filename prefixes... (and of course image compression which is the only thing regarding the image quality)

ISO- sharpness - color reproduction - autofocus and various modes are in a file called camdrv.ldd located in Z:\\sys\\bin....

Cheers. Made teh change it has definitely improved the video quality. Got a question to ask all G900 users as i havent really used the video recorder before. When you open up the media function where do you find the videos you have recorded on your phone? I can only find them in photo/camera album. This seems very stange as it is video content and old videos recorded on my w810i that are on the same memory card appear under videos. Can someone with the default video camera settings and new settings confirm where their videos appear. Cheers

The camera mod doesn't work on G900. i placed the .txt file in private\10202be9 folder ,restarted and when i enter the camera mode it creates a dump file and doesn't work.
i erased the file and all is back to normal.

What about the other files you're supposed to place in the Resource folder? You're definitely doing something wrong as other G900 owners have successfuly modded their cams
