I'm loving the UI. A3 was worth waiting for IMO. Media has had a facelift.

Strategically, i think SE has screwed up yet again by not giving it all and holding back on features by introducing limited tc. But technically, i understand how they're establishing a distinction between a media powerhouse and a simple phone, they've done it before on their R-series and P-series. And furthermore they are trying to keep things simple by leaving out an OS from the device. For a full touch interface, an OS will obviously be needed. I'm actually ok with the idea of tc for media only since it's primarily a media device so there'll probably be a llot of menus accessible through touch interface. People will always want more like accellerometer outside of media. Ask any Nokia user, they'll tell you they switch it off all the time because it's annoying to have things autorotate everywhere when you don't want them to. It's actually a very sensible move to keep them in media, some just want it because Nokia and some other manufacturers have it. Back on topic, yeah, a good mistake by SE

So wait let me get this straight. I am the only one who thinks it is a smart move by SE to seperate touch control to media(taking and viewing photos, watching and recording videos, games and such) and the alphanumeric pad to regular phone mode?

I thought the web browser will work with the touchscreen but now i read that it will not ... pity
on my P1i it is the main fun to use the web browser with the touchscreen.

Ah well. I dunno why tho Japan can be all fine and dandy with it while we who are a bit more back in cell phone design and such can't. Amazes me. Stuff in Japan should stay in Japan only cause we whine too much. Aino is an example.

You know, Aino pleases me a lot. God damn you SE and your powers to stun me while everyone hates it.
