Hi guys, could someone answer my questions I asked above,

1. When I put the camdrvier0.dat into the folder will there be the original cam driver? And do I have to remove this? Also if I decide I want to go back to the original driver how would I do this? Would I have to reinstall the firmware?

2.Also my computer is pretty temperamental, if the USB ports stop working and so the connection between the phone and computer is broken, will this do any damage?

I would really appreciate any advice thanks

Answer to your questions.

1.when you drag and drop the file in ifs/settings/camera folder, it will simply replace the original with the new one. If you want to save the original, before putting new one, right click on original and press read. The original file will be saved in ph_out folder in the a2uploader folder in your pc. This way you can revert back to original whenever you want. No need to flash everytime. You can search for original camdrive as well at 4shared or here.

2. While uploading files to a2, if connection between your phone and your pc lost, nothing would be damage.

In video, have you noticed that it's kinda dark (even though the room is fairly litted), could someone give light to this issue?

Greetings.
I shall have a look into this issue.

About the darkness in video, it is normal for CIF resolution, i tried fixing it but sometimes it gets darker when it's activated, restarting the camera fixes it. It's probably a firmware bug.

And in QVGA, video camera is not darker than the stock driver. They've the same framerate and all. The higher colour saturation can give it slightly darker effect.
You may increase the exposure one step while recording videos.
If that doesn't help, let me know.

@ Witchking

Regarding videos, I normally use the normal resolution as making it bigger makes it more pixelated. I also don't use the night mode thing (it makes video recording unrealistic, in slow-mo i mean which i do not like). Yes it is dark, although in certain occasions it gets brighter when i restart the camera (one or two occasions only). Hope you develop a super cybershot experience version 9.0 as soon as possible. It would be helpful for all seK850i. More power Witchking.
