Good but i think im getting used to seeing good quality 720p video recording now. Its more the stereo sound capture which i want, like i used to have with my N93.

The question is who are these guys that managed to get their hands on the N8? It is not out yet and it has even been delayed...
Are they Nokia employees? Or reviewers given pieces on loan from Nokia?

Digital zoom is never impressive. Maybe it would have looked cool if zooming in or out was smoother but otherwise no one will be impressed by looking at the pixels blown up - unless you're a fan of fuzzy videos

Damian Dinning had said that they had used a new video algorithm. This digital zoom quality may be the effect of that algorithm. I think camera on N8 will be much better than the one on c905 in low light.

That zoom looks gorgeous. Almost to good to be true. Wow.

It is looking more and more like I am getting that phone.

is there any advantage of buying the phone directly from the Nokia site vs a 3rd party internet reseller?
Nokia direct is like $100 more expensive

Buying from the manufacturers sites are usually more expensive. I don't know why. Just try site for anything and you would get the same item from them but more expensive.
