Overall, I think it's a well balanced phone. Slim phones are very much in and it's also launching 'soon' with Gingerbread. Mmmmm, tasty!

Silver is definitely my choice... it`s weird but when I look at it I have the same impression with what I had when I saw flat TV for the very first time.

And if Arc is going to be released at the end of March we may have 2.4 on board as well.

FROM DEVELOPER WORLD
As mentioned, one cool feature of this smartphone is its integrated support for ANT+ technology. This means that you will be able to use the Sony Ericsson Xperia™ arc with a large number of commercial health and fitness products.
For example, you can use your phone with a heart rate monitor, pedometer, or both, when you are out running.
There are number of different ANT+ enabled sensors and devices available in on the market today. In addition to a large number of ANT+ supported apps to collect, analyze, compare and share your data in various ways. These devices and apps can turn your Sony Xperia™ arc into a main hub for fitness and health activities, as well as for communication and entertainment.

It's not that I don't believe that they are gonna update the Arc to next versions of android, but I highly doubt if it will be honeycomb. The interface is just too tablet-like and doesn't seem fitting for phones....

What I got from the article was an acknowledgement that they made a mistake by not launching their phones with the latest version of Android, so whether it's Honeycomb or Ice-cream, I don't think too many people will be bothered as long as they don't leave it too long before they do update.

A very nice phone indeed. The design is amazing. Its Vivaz all over again. Ugly in the spyshots but f***ing beautiful in real life and promotional pictures. Funny how outdated iphone design and even x10 feels in comparison in rogs video. Someone described it as a concept phone made real and I really agree. Good job SE! Silver arc will be a nice birthday present for myself :
