Sugarkane...

You're an idiot who can not read and interpret it correctly !

At no time who said that the ELM is better than 808 PUREVIEW, said it would be better on some occasions and users, but the ELM is best at all times regardless of the scene and user, that is, he's an idiot bigot like you who understand nothing about technology and especially photography !!!

What is funny about this is that increasingly leave you irritated by exposure of the truth !

Rasec...

As always, you escape of the matter !

I'm talking about mobiles and non-digital camera !!!

Can not read ?

But I understand why this is, you run away from the subject cell, in the subject because his beloved sony phones is not a worthy competitor for nokia on the subject image and video since the NSERIES N90, NSERIES N93i, NSERIES N82, NSERIES N8 And 808 PUREVIEW !!!

Summary Of All... The NOKIA is acclaimed by all and for all as manufacturer of the best cameraphones on the planet and little sony boys (Rasec And Sugarkane) still writhing with anger and envy !

Do you also own a DSLR? or a compact camera decent sized sensor + IS? with why not do a quick photo comparison (especially high ISO and lowlight non-tripod test to see how it copes with motion blurs on a flash free pictures, just to help someone's mind in need here) I know I was asking too much, so hopefully it's fine

How i will interpret when you can't even compose a phrase correctly?

Here's a example of what was aforementioned.
And i think that you need to stop with free offenses.

Funny is how many times you try to impose such a nonsense thing !
The only nervous person here is you man.
Calm down from now on, these were my last words to you.
Be happy on your Nokia magic kingdom with dirty language and people with strange demeanor.

PS.:

(Rasec And Sugarkane) still writhing with anger and envy !

Can't you even copy/paste ???
Geez...

P.S: That's it ! Only Compare The 808 Pureview With Dslr, Because It Compares The 808 PureView With Any Mobile Phone Sony Or Samsung, Would Be Simply Ridiculous !

As Ridiculous As Compare To Potential An Engine With a Bettle 1968 With Lamborghini Aventador 2012 !

@ Guarulhos

now that you're replying, why didn't you reply to our answer back then on page 5 during the blind test??

why did you choose the c901 picture over the 808 pureview?

because:

808 pureview picture was boring
c901 picture was interesting

but before you say "hey that was an unfair comparison"

didn't you notice that skill took part in taking the better picture? skill is something that can never be bought by any amount of money nor can be matched by any technological advancement.

it's like you're pretending to be cool "hey I have the greatest cameraphone in the world 808 pureview, but I'm sorry I got beaten by an inferior camera" LOL

wouldn't that be extremely humiliating

and we, as you have labeled as sony fans do not envy the 808, why you ask? the overall niceness of a sony phone with regards to browsing, gaming, watching videos, form factor and design far outweighs the benefit of camera only 808PV. If there's anyone that's envy, it's you

When one takes a look at the 808 dimensions (especially the thickness) it screams brick, it's not that Sony can't and don't have the engineering experience to put an RX100 sensor on an Xperia S, it's the law of physics that hinders them, as >10mm slim phones are in and Sony and the rest of the company are investing to that. We give credits to where it's due, and Nokia needs to be as bold as they can do attract their then-immensely-loyal userbase. If Nokia 808 is considered an engineering marvel due to the inclusion of a good camera and image/video processor despite its ancient hardware(nokia fans used to bash for this ) then what more is GSIII/XperiaS/iPhone4s considering that their manufacturers managed to put every possible top-of the line hardware (read: tenfold faster SoC, Larger Display, Larger Battery capacity, decent camera, twice the RAM, ) on a slimmer, smaller package while being almost as expensive/cheaper than the Pureview?

Rasec...

His explanation impressively the first time here was polite, sensible and coherent in some aspects !

Consistent as regards the beautiful engineering work done, by Samsung, Sony And Apple with smartphones top - line, however they are even more, ie, fine... squares... with android and ios !

Resources in general... Samsung I9300 Galaxy S III is just one step ahead of HTC ONE X... Even The HTC ONE X is only one step ahead LG OPTIMUS 4X... And Apple IPhone 4S is only one step ahead SONY XPERIA S !

Understand what I mean ?

In practical terms... Excluding design and battery life, the direct benefits for use on days are virtually IDENTICAL !!!

The proposal raised by Nokia and launched in the market with 808 PUREVIEW, this is not to be the most beautiful machine... thin... or fast smartphone market, quite the contrary !

The real proposal 808 PUREVIEW is to be the smartphone with the best solution for image and video on the planet !

And here she was ultra successful !

No cell phone on the planet counts on image quality even similar to that presented by 808 PUREVIEW !

And this situation will stay the same, at least the next three years !

Unlike eg the Galaxy S III (so far the best smartphone on the planet) to be overcome by next month SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 2 (which will feature architecture CPU ARM 15), ie, the hitherto best smartphone on the planet, only had this title for miserable 3 months !

Like Xperia S will be overcome in the next month with the launch of the world XPERIA GX !!!

So I say and repeat SONY, SAMSUNG, HTC, APPLE And Etc... do not innovate in any real as a real innovation, is not overcome in a few months but only in years... decades !!!

Like nokia did and does with its cameraphones (N90, N93i, N82, N86 8 MP, N8 And 808 PureView) and will make its line of SMARTPHONES WINDOWS 8 (LUMIA 910, LUMIA 950 And LUMIA 1001) !

NOKIA NSERIES N8... For more than two years the best cameraphone on the market (surpassed only by 808 PUREVIEW) !

NOKIA 808 PUREVIEW... Acclaimed by the world as the best and most revolutionary solution of photo and video mobile (And so will the next three years and one day is equaled or exceeded, only the will by another CAMERAPHONE NOKIA) !

SONY, SAMSUNG, APPLE And Etc... Do not have the courage and technology to suborn the nokia in the field of image and video !!!

I conclude here answering your question...

Pureview is expensive, because for what it was created, in other words ,be the ultimate solution for image and video he is arguably the best !

Offering the best available technology this year and the next three years, longevity of cutting edge technology that no other manufacturer offers mobile phones !!!

P.S: Against Real Facts And Figures... There Are No Arguments !!!

Okay, so for the first time your post did not contain any blatant insults directed to us "Sony fanboys" - as you would like to put. Hence I feel obliged to post my rebuttals regardless of your cryptic sentences

Resources in general... Samsung I9300 Galaxy S III is just one step ahead of HTC ONE X... Even The HTC ONE X is only one step ahead LG OPTIMUS 4X... And Apple IPhone 4S is only one step ahead SONY XPERIA S !

and all of them are miles ahead to Pureview 808 (you know what I mean, i don't feel the need to reiterate facts)

The real proposal 808 PUREVIEW is to be the smartphone with the best solution for image and video on the planet !

and it happens to be as expensive or even more expensive than the top end smartphones with superior specs and software hands down, and just so you know 808's price point also touches DLSRs (read: D5100/D3200/EOS rebels) and mirrorless cameras (read: Sony NEX) which does more than just taking good pictures, and here I repeat, 808 is nowhere close to those cameras on virtually everything once a photographer exercises their flexibility. also let's be honest here, 808 also cannot go against DSLRs in their own turf (the ever important High ISO, burst shooting, phase detection, fast AF, ergonomics and Depth of Field) 808 may have been the best cunsumer grade cameraphone in the world and we all know that, but on your previous "dead" thread you're so happy posting about 808 beating A850 when all photographer simply did was to do an impromptu shootout test their automatic settings, and yes the A850 barely used all its abilities and there you are saying 808 surpassed the full frame.

And this situation will stay the same, at least the next three years !

and here esato witnessed the rebirth of Nostradamus

Unlike eg the Galaxy S III (so far the best smartphone on the planet) to be overcome by next month SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 2 (which will feature architecture CPU ARM 15), ie, the hitherto best smartphone on the planet, only had this title for miserable 3 months !

And Nokia remained miserable as more and more retail stores become Samsung's. So what about it? Samsung is more than happy to do that, since Galaxy is Galaxy and Samsung owns them, so even if SIII becomes outdated, Samsung will still reap the benefits, understand the logic?

Like Xperia S will be overcome in the next month with the launch of the world XPERIA GX !!!

Same thing

So I say and repeat SONY, SAMSUNG, HTC, APPLE And Etc... do not innovate in any real as a real innovation, is not overcome in a few months but only in years... decades !!!

How do you define innovation anyway? my wordweb says "The act of starting something for the first time; introducing something new" so

the first time we saw dual core smartphone in the form of LG optimus 2X doesn't make it innovative?
the first time we saw quadcore + 2GB ram on LG 4X and a new revision of Samsung SIII isn't considered innovative?
the first time we saw iPhone popularizing Siri isn't nnovative? Sony giving us floating touch isn't innovative?
the first time we saw 720p displays in Galaxy Note isn't innovative?

Like nokia did and does with its cameraphones (N90, N93i, N82, N86 8 MP, N8 And 808 PureView) and will make its line of SMARTPHONES WINDOWS 8 (LUMIA 910, LUMIA 950 And LUMIA 1001) !

I assume you're talking with the camera capabilities of these phones so here we go:
N90 - total flop (barrel distortion, noise, blurry edges, red tint, slow focusing), embarrassed by K750 hands down
N93i - another flop, applied N-R to remove the noise issues brought by the tiny sensor that's previously used by N93, gimmicky 3x zoom when it was actually 2.77x, never had a chance to beat K800 on still image photography, but does indeed impressed on video recording. but wait N93i also turns its AF off during macro so...
N86 8mp - another flop, Nokia introduced an 8mp with less details than Samsung innov8 due to wider angle, This phone is the prime example of how nokia flopped when it claimed they don't need Xenon flash as N86 8mp's 3rd gen LED flash are powerful, then there announced/released Satio which GSMArena claims to have beaten Samsung innov8 and the rest of 8mp at that time, also we had Samsung released Pixon12 coming with features available to both Satio(12mp, xenon flash, WVGA video) and N86 (variable aperture, 28mm wide angle)

NOKIA NSERIES N8... For more than two years the best cameraphone on the market (surpassed only by 808 PUREVIEW)!

Totally agreed with this, though N8 was the best only in still photography, its 720p is nowhere close to iPhone 4S/Samsung Galaxy SII's 1080p recording/playing

NOKIA 808 PUREVIEW... Acclaimed by the world as the best and most revolutionary solution of photo and video mobile (And so will the next three years and one day is equaled or exceeded, only the will by another CAMERAPHONE NOKIA) !

As much as I would like to agree with this, but this kind of post typically comes only from a blind fanboy

SONY, SAMSUNG, APPLE And Etc... Do not have the courage and technology to suborn the nokia in the field of image and video !!!

No need, people nowadays spend cash for the ultimate convergence, not just taking good pictures which is a specialty among the creative minds only, also Megapixel race as Eldar said is over

Pureview is expensive, because for what it was created, in other words ,be the ultimate solution for image and video he is arguably the best !

Yes and for that purpose Sony RX100/NEX and Canon/NikonDSLRs are a better buy due to their features and price tag and btw just to remind you on what I stated above, 808 cannot beat these cameras in image quality, period, please re-read my post as I don't like repeating things over an over as if I'm a broken platter.

Offering the best available technology this year and the next three years, longevity of cutting edge technology that no other manufacturer offers mobile phones !!!

Be specific, as the last time I looked at PureView's specs even the two year old Samsung Galaxy S outsmarts it in everything except Camera

Rasec

Shall I take back what I said on my first post? it's pretty clear that you are forcing yourself to spell my username this way despite the availability of copy-paste function on your Pureview's web browser or unless I'm very much mistaken?
