The more camera sample shots I see from the Nexus the more it puts me off this phone from a cameraphone perspective.

Worse than Sony in terms of chroma-abrassion and colours and focus are pretty poor.

Just proves that it's not all about Mpx.

@Hardened

T39M, those were the days man... Always been Caspa, always will be... Been in and out over the years, not on as much as in the early days at that's when I was starting out my career in telecommunications...

As etaab has said, it was down to lack of spectrum which has now been freed up after switching off the analogue TV service...

@etaab

Spot on mate, 800mhz is back in the game. EE have a great advantage having 1800mhz, its like payback for the challenges it caused them back when they were separate entities first starting in the UK market (e.g. more cell sites for same area / poorer indoor coverage compared to 900mhz). The 900mhz band will become redundant for O2 and Voda as it isn't a viable option for 4G.

So it's all about 800mhz and 2600mh, and in the distant future 2100mhz when they eventually free it of 3G services...

LTE is such a long time coming for us UK users that we don't bat an eyelid, especially those of us who remember the previous switches from Analogue to Digital and 2G to 3G!

Cant say i believe the LG spokesperson's opinion to be honest, not if someone can simply go into debug and change the settings to enable it. Unless of course the phone software says its using it and its not. Or a hoax.

I think LG were just lazy and simply repackaged the Optimus G. Not literally of course.

Well for us here it doesnt matter either as lets face it, our LTE network, EE has trash tarrifs anyway so the point of it in the UK is pretty mute.
