This case that I received today will do until I get the Sony original, since there is no Spigen.
Have ordered a couple of other cases too.

Anyway, for the record, I've paid €85.00 for the phone case (original, from Zen Market) so far. I hope there aren't any surprise customs fees added once it arrives in Rome.

Both original cases (one from Japan, the other from England, will arrive next week).

My phone is in the post and to be delivered in the next hour.

Unfortunately, I'm in work so might not get my hands on it until later on today.

Shipped Monday. Delivered to my home today.
Spigen AlignMaster is on. The case is not perfect where the power button is, you can see. But after an hour it´s not visible.
Will wait until I start the phone. Need half a day with the configuration. To much work right now.

It's here!

Initial impressions: The finish is like nothing I've held before, imagine very fine, hard sandpaper. It's amazing how any scratches, like if you scratch it with your fingernail, just disappear with a wipe of your finger. Don't know how they've achieved this but it's almost magical. The finish feels very durable and unusual - it's with some reluctance that I'm actually putting a cover on it.

The phone feels heftier and more solid, coming from the 1m5 (it is 13g heavier).

The periscope telephoto lens aperture is A LOT bigger and appears a lot deeper than the lens on the V and gives the strange illusion of being outside the front of the phone.

I like the rubber thumb ring, for added security, though I would have liked it a bit longer.

Just setting up now...

Woo!!

Very happy and excited for you guys.

@Maratonmannen - is that the 3rd party case or the sony official case?

@goldenface - what is the rubber thumb ring you're referring to? I've also been wondering about the surface finish of the glass. Is it durable enough to go case-less? That would be my preference but I do not want to crack or scratch up my phone with a drop all because I didn't want to have a case. My current plan is to get a case. The official sony one seems nice because it color matches, but I have seen some transparent ones with mag-safe rings built in, which would let me show off the color and provide extra magsafe features.

something like this: https://trinitystore.jp/products/tr-xp263-ttmss

I don't know how I will get it yet. The store does not ship internationally. I will need to look on ebay or call in a favor from a friend living in or visiting japan.
