You are totally wrong about color values in palette. At least in my t68m (firmware R8A015 - as in t68i) there are another colors.
Just make pictures with red, green and blue gradient 0-255 and you can measure color thresholds. They are:
48, 64, 88, 112, 128, 152, 168 for red and green.
64, 112, 160 for blue.

Ooops... That's not all. It looks like there is non-uniform palette in T68m. It's possible to get it (make pictures with all combinations of 5bit R,G,B, but it's a lot of work...

@ripkord

I agree with what you said, but to reiterate my point:

The first value should be 0 and the other seven should be multiples of 255/7, after rounding. The final value is going to be 255 if you do this and there will be a range of 256 from 0 to 255 -
0,36,73,109,146,182,219,255

If, however, you take 0 as the first value and get the other seven from multiples of 256/7 and round them off, the final value will end up being 256. The values will then wrongly range from 0 to 256, a range of 257! -
0,37,73,110,146,183,219,256

Try it with a calcalator yourself.

Observe the differences, then compare the second list of values with those in all8's palette -
0,37,73,110,146,183,219,255
It the same as the ever-so-slightly-wrong list, except for the 255, which appears to be a result of forcing 256 into the acceptible range.

You do know, if my mates down the pub see this display of anal-retention, I'm a dead man?

Quick question.

When I save a .gif image in Photoshop 7 it asks if I want to save it in on of two ways. "Normal" or "Interlaced" I know that they are different ways the pic is put together (in alternating lines or not) but is any of them better than the other and do they both work on a T68i?

I have a T610 but a girl at work wants some Beckham pics (*GROAN*) and I'm the sucker who has to make them for her.

Any help is appreciated, I've already followed a load of the steps in this thread and the pics seem better on the computer... lets see how they translate to the phone tomorrow.
