Wow a WiFi Duo - this will make the P800/P900 a killer device. All the connectivity covered except GPS. Let's hope the P1000 has GPS.

Zen
The Duo TV was first seen before Christmas of last year! The problem was at that time Sony already realize that there is no place for the OLD Duo and Duo big sister MS already made a move to higher speed, more capacity MSPro. So everything based on Duo was put on hold. Now that they have decided to go for MSPro architecture Duo(Duo High Speed and DuoPro), we will expect the Duo-based gadged like TVDuo, GPSDuo, WiFiDuo to come out. When? It is another question. Probably after we have sold our P800........

@Blue

You looks very happy to hear the news? Announcing it everywhere, even starting a new thread. If you have P800 I expect you to say Dammed SE.

What could be your motives? Stocking too many of the 128MB Duo?

@blue

well i guess what i saw was nothing then. Or the p800 i used was udated firmware although i saw r2f as phones firmware everything else could have been different ( i am not allowed to even write down anything) or maybe the one i used had R2F firmware and the other had R1D???? I know that it indeed works I have seen it!

the DUO Pro Definetly Works. Ive seen it work perfectly and if there was a firmware upgrade which i dont thionk so because i saw the firmware on the p800 as r2f it does exist and will come to us. So do not dispair. Pre ORDER now before its too late.

I called up and first i was told that it ran in parallel mode but now im told it dont so I am still not sure.

Not sure if tuner works with p800 only tried it on p900 (which i tried to buy but was dclined)

Also I was thinking that too, but I am pretty sure the p900 is at least a bit faster, i dont really remember but I am pretty sure it was better.

@Sage

If your SE contacts are seeking your feedback you got to tell them then the WiFi Duo will sell like hot cakes. Here in the UK, two of the train companies are planning WiFi hot spots in the trains and the national telecoms company is planning to install hot spots into public phones. In one year we are going to have really good WiFi coverage.
