Defaming people is illegal and actionable. Unless you know for a fact that the products sold by ACS are stolen, don't say they are. Second, its real easy how he may have hte products. He may have a relationship with SE, or through one of their employees that gets him the products early.

There are enough SE people who monitor these forums that if it was a question of illegality, he would be out of business. ACS gets products very close to announcement/release dates.

Don't take your jealousy out on BigFoot.

Again with this "Dumb" thing!!!
Its just not cool to size everyone up by such standards....
If BigFeat (Much props on your purchase, btw) wants the phone now and buys it now. That doesn't mean he's dumb. It just means that he's a guy who knows what he wants out of life and I commend him for that.
Heck, you're saying the prices will drop in a day or so...what assurances do you have that you, or any of us for that matter, will even get to live that long???
None? Well, if you have none, doesn't that make you kind of dumb for planning on an uncertainty???
Think about it!

Dude! There are people out there who are addicted to drugs and pay TONS more than $1500 daily, so that white powder goes up their noses. There are people who buy "Antiques" and "Priceless Artificats" for millions, only to lock them up away from any eyes that can admire them.
A day is worth a lifetime to some people.

For any potential haters out there, I've taken courses in Economics, Finance, Marketing AND Business Ethics. There's a little thing called "Time Value of Money" and the basic underlying premise states that "a buck today MAY be worth a buck-and-a-half tomorrow"...but that's up to the investor.
Its all madness, but please...let the value be up to the buyer, eh?

Oh, one more thing. I love this forum. I think all of y'all and great and have contributed so much. I also think its important that we remember to respect others too, y'know. Karma and all that....

dude, the P900 dev edition is quoted BY SE at 650$
so if it is sold at that much, then yeah, it is much cheaper than 1500$

just read this whole thread and i have to agree with bigfeat he set up this thread to tell people who have the cash that the p900 is now ready to purchase from ACS,

Also i can see were fijbert is coming from to how can this site have the p900 so soon? i guess you'd have to ask the owner of the store that question? but i don't doubt that the store has got them illegally, they could have ties with SE which gives them first refusal on new products, who knows?

All i can say is Bigfeat hope your happy with your new toy, wish i had the cash myself which i don't or else i'd have every phone in SE range expect the t310 (don't like it much), anyways best of luck with you new p900 mate hope it brings you hours of fun.

We obviously don't have all the answers you want.
Contact ACS and then SE yourself if you're really in need of proof and/or clarification.
In the meantime, chill out on this thing. Its making you look petty.
Either way, BigFeat gets his phone today and you get yours tomorrow.
How about we declare this pissing contest over and go back to being "normal phone phreaks"?

I was not avoiding your question. I actually didn’t think you were in your right mind when you said they have illegal items in their possession and intend to sell them openly with no regards to their business reputation and future employment of their employees. Moreover, I thought you would have caught the other poster that said they purchased phones (before they were available several other places) from ACS in the past and even mentioned a rep’s name from there. For a company that has been in business for quite a while I didn’t think I had to be the spokesperson for them.

You clearly are a cynic that makes accusation with NO facts. In addition to that have the audacity to challenge me and defend the legitimacy of a company that I have no affiliation with. I’m glad to see another member answered your question. If all this doesn’t make sense to you by now then please continue to post and make yourself look foolish. If you do then I hope everything is settled and that you calm down.
