It looks like your the only one with that problem, as I certainly don't have that problem, and as you say, no one else is reporting that problem

Hey all,

Got one question

How can I sync this phone with outlook on a p900 syncstation. I have downloaded the synchronise program from the SE site but it doesn't seem to work it just says that it fails everytime! It might be the fact that I have the p900 software on my computer aswell. any1 got it working and how ??

thanks

Hi everyone, picked up my K700 last night bloody brilliant. Just a couple of small things, can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong.
After sending some impressive hi res pictures to some jealous mates, I received their pictures back not long after to find that they are just a thumbnail size on the screen, have I set up the screen incorrectly or please do not tell me that this is the max size...
Secondly when I put it on charge through the night the screen stayed illuminated through the night which is rather bright, I seem to remember that on my T610 it faded to black after 2 mins...

Apart from that I think its a great bit of kit...

Cheers

@N3uR0

I do this with no problem at all.

Assuming you have installed the K700 sync station software and the P900 sync software its just a matter attaching the usb cable to the pc. then right clicking on the "phone connection link" in the system trayand choosing properties and unchecking the USB box (noting the com port it is attached to)

then open "mobile phone monitor" from system tray or "Phone Monitor Options" in control panel, click on the "com ports" tab and enable the com port previously noted.

reverse the procedure to go back to syncing the P900

or if you have a lot of money/usb ports, you could get another DSS-25 syncstation

I actually did buy another sync station and will be trying that at the weekend. the supposition is that you can make the different sync stations create different virtual ports.

this isn't why I bought it btw, I don't really plan to hang two sync stations off my pc. one is for UK and one for Germany so its one less thing to carry around. I am a bit of a minimalist when it comes to travelling back and forth every week

@masseur, dont blame you!

Ps, how long have you had your k700 for? (sounds like you know it inside out already...)

I've had it 9 days now, since a week last monday. I don't have issue with the battery at all and have been using it almost exclusively. In fact last night I went to use the P900 and got a little confused or disorientated about where things were momentarily!
