The sound support on UIQ 2.0 (which Im using) is next nothing. I can't even play two samples at the same time without a huge amount of effort!

Yeah I agree, and also there is no ninja rope,. so till then
I like the Teleporter idea.. choosing a place to teleport on and loose turn... (but it sohuld be hard to get this)
Another diea is: the sound effects, (voices), I would like to hear more ants talking..
Another way is if you have some sound paks we can put our own sounds in and you choose randomly over them.
Sound paks like.
sounds/lostpower.pak
sounds/died.pak
sounds/nicehit.pak
etc etc
and in them you have alot of sounds files..
BTW I LOVE THE ARDVARK!!!! Best weapon ever.. but make it harder to get!

When having my ant on one side of the game and I am trying to hit another ant on the other side of the game, I have to click with the pen on the side of the screen to scroll, BUT if they are to far apart the screen wont scrool further.. Making it imposible to marking the ant for the guide rocket..
Another thing and someone else mentioned it, pushing an ant over a cliff is so nice!!

I have had some oportunites that I could push an ant so it could go ofscreen..
I would love to see small arrows on the lower corners so we could scroll all the way.. OR like someone else mentioned, using the scroller for scrolling the view instead of zoom in and out. And the zoom could be used pushing the scrooler against you and away from you
And for using all the functions of the scrollbar we could have pushing the scrollbar in = PAUSE
And one aother thing, do you guys remember the streetfighter move? Somehting like "sha-rue-ken" and the worm would do uppercut punch...
And in my experience the guidance rocket isn't so well aimed always, seem like the oponents rocket is always better, and mine is a little offset... But this might not be a bug but a bad player as I might be.. (but look at the code for the aim)
A winderful game.. Could you make it a little more girlfriend friendly.. hehe she's getting angry cause I am playing it all the time

The original Worms had dud mines. Perhaps this is already implemented in Soldier Ants as well?
Yesterday I played Worms 2 again. There are quite some interesting weapons there that make strategic gameplay completely different than Soldier Ants.

I agree with the sounds/voices as well. (of course an option to turn it off as well will be needed)
The way it would work in worms is
if you made a mistake, your team mate would choose a random string from a section and say something like "you idiot!"
if you hit someone who had JUST hit you, your worm would say something like "sweet revenge"
if you a worm was exploding he'd say something like "oh dear'
if you hit an enemy for no apparant reason he'd say "i'll get you" etc...

BUG REPORT:
- When an ant goes out of frame, out of the screen it falls and dies BUT the turn is still on the same team but a different ant, the turn should go to next team if that happens.. Try it, just go outside the screen.. It happened to me twice..

Just before I attend to all the other stuff thats been put on the forum in the last day or so...
I've uploaded version 1.07 with some fairly major changes. I'd appreciate any feedback on this version. It has lots of zoom effects, camera wobble and an ingame save.

Ah, at present I can only comment on the demo version. I think I'll revoke the purchase contract of my P900 because they cheated on me and sold me a used unit instead of a new one. Therefore I'll give back the unit. I think I'll wait for the P910 to hit the stores until I buy a replacement. Therefore I don't want to buy Soldier Ants right now.
Don't use the purchasers of Soldier Ants as beta testers, use us demo users as well. ;-)
