ditto... I am still very happy too however now that I am using an SP3i the V3 is now mostly for calls and the SP3i is for email, web etc... the windows mobile operating system is so much better for that stuff in this size phone than any other IMHO

@Masseur:
It isnīt branded in any way, just SP-locked *Thank God!*
Now, how do you sync contacts with Outlook directly???
I canīt export contacts from Outlook without major reworking and remapping of fields

I hadn't synchronised using bluetooth before but I just did it and it worked fine
@Threex, unfortunately the standard synchronise package won't synch with outlook so the only choice you have is to extract from outlook and you can make it work with a bit of effort as the import function on the phonetools software isn't too bad
to get outlook functionality you have to spend a little more money. I bought the motorola phonetools PC220 package. its pretty much the same as the one that is included with the phone but also has outlook synch capability

Has anyone had any luck finding a good cheap place to remotely unlock the V3?
Thanks.

Just got my V3 in the other day. I like it so far. Still kinda pissed about the lack of Java apps on it. Didn't come with games or that phonebook 3D stuff.
Anyway, I can't stand the fact that the memory is only 5MB and so I was searching around for a way to increase the sim card size and came across this:
http://digital-lifestyles.inf[....]p?section=distribution&id=1685
Which means that a 256MB sim card may be out within the next 6 or so months. COOL!!!! Now we can just dump pics and music on the sim and not have such a memory limitation!

welcome to Esato
here is our thread discussing that though how quickly operators will take it up and actually supply anything useful after it comes out is another story. Personally I think a new V3, possibly
this one, will be out by then with more memory etc

Whoops! My bad. I guess I should of searched before I posted that.
Yea, I read pretty thoroughly about that new Razr with Blackberry support but since I have no interest in blackberry I ruled that one out. I will however be very pissed if they just release one with upgrades like memory and camera. ie: SE P910

Although, I am seriously thinking about just getting the P910a cause I am such a SE fan and the integration with OS X is better with them I feel.
Anyway, thanks for the additional info. Now all I have to do is figure out where to get the Java games and applications.
