@o2..when i first used the k7,the joystick appeared oversentive.but over the 5 month or so,i only really encountered idleness within the past few weeks.a review over short duration, can't really impose any significant wear/use of the joystick.i wonder if se test the joystick life in anyway?over time,i think many units are gonna be returned due to this!

@k7 think a test should last min 6 or 9 month for a joy.

@boba....yeah,a strenuos 4 or 5 month test would suffice mate...ultimately,this would save se a great deal of revenue in terms of returned faulty merchandise!

if you do have a lazy joystick or one that doesnt work correctly, as th phones are less than 1 year old, the joysticks can be replaced free under warranty.

In generall.... there has always been problems with joy sticks... even SONY PS/2 controller analog joy sticks have problems, frm wearing off and loose fixtures... as it is a moving part durability is important.. I suggest SE to use roller balls or touch sensitive direction pad (its flat and small, can be found in the new SONY PSP) this might be the 2nd generation of joy sticks... either way.. the joy sticks will cause problems... juz hope that happens within ur warranty...

glad V800 doesnt hv a joy stick.. if not I'll be complaining aswell.. hehehe...
