Eamonn> The fact that the first time you did it your volume key broke off has just put me off doing it for life!

Oh crap Ed. I shouldn't have said that...The trick is not to touch the volume key AT ALL while the cover is off....

OK then I'll give them until Monday before I get too annoyed! What makes me laugh is that when you go on to the Voda website to contact them it's syas it the instructions to make sure you disconnect from the internet so that they can phone you back! What are you suupost to do not use the internet for 4 days?? Good job I've got broadband but they still haven't called me!

Eamonn> Hmmm. I think I'll give it a miss! If you pass Manchester on your way down from Newcastle to Cambridge maybe you can pop round and take the cover off my phone so I can clean the screen!

decoy7> what network are you using? It sounds like you can send large data files over yours!

stephenneal> Yes I've got broadband with NTL. I connected to cable TV when ITV Digital went down (don't say it!) and got broadband with it. I'm only on 128k connection but it's only costing me £15/month and I didn't have to pay any connection fee (they sold it to me without telling me of a connection fee - usually £25 but then asked for it so I complained and got it for free!).

For £15/month it's brilliant as I'm always connected - it's fast enough for me (you can upgrade to the 512kb connection (£25/month if you want it or the 1mb connection) and it doesn't tie up the phoneline! I know you can pay the same for many dial up connections and they are slower and tie up your phone.

I would well reccomend it as I haven't had any problems with it yet!

This is the link for NTL if your interested although there are loads of broadband providers now if you shop around.

decoy7> Yes got it and it's worked fine! Looks like T-Mobile allows large data files! I'm impressed!
