Got here now and all i can say is damn orange branding!! It's terrible!! I can't believe how much of the phone they've messed up! It's getting as bad as voda phone!
The phone it's self is great! Nice size good build quality. But the standby screen had those terrible orange menus down the side!!!
Gotta get this debranded asap!
Gonna be searching the net this afternoon for info on how to debrand!

My 3230 menu is almost identical to a 6600 and a 7650 so i guess so(they're the only two other series 60s i've messed with).

Ok i've now discovered that it's near impossible to debrand a new nokia yourself. So i'm of to my local CPW tomorrow to see if they can help as they're a SE service centre i'm hoping they'll be able to do nokias too!

@governor - Nice thread mate

I was just delighted to see Tranquil making a post here using a Nokia fone model, I wonder how a Nokia 6810

looks like

Maybe, Ketil is JUST testing the . . . 'water'

. . .
I am still wonderin' why the FATHER of Nokia model fones here at Esato - Flying Finn, is NOT yet making his post

. . . I am STILL proud of my Nokia 7650!

Good idea this thread, The nokia 7710 a new smartphone that really confirms why Nokia is King of the road, it's quite impressive, in the sense that it combines feautures like widescreen, touchscreen and excellent audio capacities, I don't wana switch to any of those other brands out there that's for sure

thx for a Nokia thread... great info in first post.
I have fubar'ed my 6630 with some crazy N-gage emu that didnt do the job. Now I need to reeeeally reset it and was wondering if the three-key bootup trick requires the battery to be fully fully charged to work and if it has been documented to work on 6630? And also does the SIM have to be in or out of the phone?
(I can report that when I do 3-key boot up trick on my 6630 with SIM out of phone it asks for security code. But it seems to have worked anyways (: )

yup it will work. and yes, pls fully charge the batt before doing that because it will take a good five minutes.... and batt will be used heavvily. you dont want the phone to die on you when doing a reset, right?
