You said that Davini changes the CDA to generic UK CDA. If I have a German CDA can I use it instead? It's a brandingfree CDA with a EU5 firmware!

Would I just download the EU5 firmwares from Davinci and change the Language_Variant_Name to EUROPE_5?

is that possible to change for free the CDA under davinci and then set the phone to receive a firmware different than his original firmware?

For exemple so as to update with the EU_3 FW (available for free on SEUS) on a EU_1 phone ( update unavailable)

Theoretically, changing the CDA but not actually flashing the firmware with DaVinci should be fine. After all, the SEUS should then flash the phone with the firmware that corresponds to that CDA. But changing the CDA will cost you, so you may as well flash at the same time and do it all for one credit.

I emailed davinci yesterday, to ask if I should call the variant EUROPE_2 or EU_2

Here is their reply:

"I think EU_2 or EUROPE_2 this is doesnt matter
only CDA number important

FOR EU2 use next number

So depending on which language pack you intend to use, you should use the generic CDA for that particular version of the handset for the list above.

higuys
getting an error messgae as soon as i try and run the client from davinci
encountered a problem and needs to close down , have the option to send error report to microsoft
any ideas?

Sorry about my poor punctuation and spelling there
What i meant to say was that i have Downloaded the Davinci client for debranding my K750I (Damn Vodafone) but i cant even get as far as running the programme
When i attempt to i get the messgae that an error has occured and the programme needed to be closed down
Any help is greatly appreciated
