man sean, im feelin for ya, i almost got scammed £700 a few years bak on ebay... all in all ,, ebay sucks for safety.. wowo i saved about 20 on a memory stick,, but look at how much i iwas about to lose,,

anyway, i was almost gonna pay the guy... untill the real person who owned the account (her account got hacked on ebay as she states, was able to mail me and save my ass,,)
after winning one of his auctions i said i aint buyin it.. he says why,, al ot of talk, but no arguements,, then hee give me feedback which is positive,, sayingl,,, bought mobiles and paid in quick time...)
i was like wat..... i didnt even buy them,, he had only 4 positiv feedback and was 100%

Great job I found this discussion forum - since I was just about to make a purchase off "Mr Michael Slinn". I originally saw a 2004 Kawasaki 10R Ninja on ebay with a starting bid of £500, but in the ad, it was advertised as one day sale for £1500. The user name for this guy was skizzo44 (18*). I checked his/her history and apparently this user had a previous account in Italy and had closed his/her account. Anyway whilst I was asking this user on why the bike's so cheap I realised that all the other bikes that the user had on ebay were withdrawn. I eventually got a reply from skizzo44 saying that "it's on promotion".
Not long after, the user skizzo44 had closed his/her user account with e-bay and I received another e-mail with regards to the Kawasaki from Safeitrade.com, lo and behold, Manager Mr Michael Slinn himself!

Sorry going on a bit, anyway I've been communicating with this guy for a while now. And he somewhat doesn't like the fact that I'm willing to travel all the way to London just to have a look at the bike before I make the purchase. I was offering this guy cash in hand but he was having none of it.
Obviously this guy's English is getting better everyday since everyone's been writing to him.
Anyway, this is the last communication I had with this guy - I'm ending the conversation with this guy, he's definitely a con:
