Worked normally, I've meant that the ORIGINAL games and apps folders worked fine, and there wasn't new folders with same name... strange...

Agreed - just tried again - 2 new folders created with the old ones still there but inaccessible - Phone displays "Operation failed" when I try to access them. Folders still have 853kb but 0 files.
I have lost all games and apps....arggh

i have this bug on my K790i.....
the phone switches off itself. to restart it the battery has to be removed and replaced again OR the power button has to pressed for 10 seconds and then i can switch it on.
I had this problem on my old f/w R1CC003
got it upgraded to R1CG001 but the same problem persists.
now there's a strange thing to it....
i used the phone without any mem stick inserted for almost a week and the number of times the phone switches off has reduced tremendously.
with the mem stick inserted it would switch off every 2 to 3 hours.
i noticed it once when it switched off and saw the WSOD flash a couple of times before it finally switched off.
so anybody can tel me whether the problem is with mem stick or the f/w has some compatiblity issues with the mem stick?
if n wen the new f/w comes can it tak care of this prob or shud i ask to get it replaced?
these people at SE in India suck big time. they havn replied to my mail since 3 weeks n neither can one get thru their phone numbers.

You have ask that so many times and it has been answered. Btw you can't expect everything to be fixed in a fwupdate at once. Go look at the k750i Firmware overview. yuo will see bugs up untill some of the lates fw's meaning that some of thoes bugs were bugs from the release of the ph0one up until now! Once againg theres nothing wrong with it beside a software bug , which can be fixed.

@maldus: I'd first try to format the memory stick to see if it's corrupt. If it still happens, it's probably a broken memory stick. If it was a firmware issue, we'd probably have seen many more reports of it here.
