I called SonyEricsson support and the problem was new to them. They told me to try another SIM-card, so I ordered a new SIM-card yesterday and.... at once the same problem occured
Anyone else?

do you use the gmail application?coz when i had it on my phone it was hanging everyday(note that the app i had installed on my phone was not compatible with my phone coz i could do that only by opera mini as when i tried to install it from built in opera gmail saied that my country is not supported??

al_1982a, I also have gmail installed and have no problems with it. Why should it complain about the country not being supported, that is odd? I just installed the English language version and it has worked fine from the start.

so when i tried to install it by opera mini they(google)doesn't recognize from where i am,so they saied do you want to install gmail anyway?(the version they are offering by this way is not supported for p990,get me?
