But in the s700 video presentation that guy said it supports slots up to 1gb. Arent just pro duos that big?

Sony are releasing a 1GB DUO PRO this autumn, alongside a 2GB Memory Stick Pro.
I think i read on HoFo, and other places that te S700 will only support 128MB DUO max. This seems to be nearly 100% confirmed now.

I think Bengalboy already has concluded that the man that said that is an idiot. The new white paper from 23 Aug clearely and explicitly says in black text it does NOT support MS DUO PRO.

the phone is due out in october, but there are a few links on ebay, with actual photos in a box, can't wait, i wonder if the camera is better than the gx30 tho :S

Umm, havent you seen the specimen pictures ?
Its currently the best megapixel camera phone image quality wise you can buy.. until Samsung bring out their big gun.
