Maybe because Jo'burg always happens first...
The slow speeds are maybe being caused by congestion on some towers due to upgrades being done on other. (we can only hope)
Atleast I know that I won't have to battle with GPRS speeds for much longer. I managed to pick up 3G signal around Carnival City for a short while, and the speeds were impresive.

@Tahir: I don't understand that reply. I thought 64k, as with 32k, would simply accommodate better network services(voice&data) and zilch with signal strenght.
