Wait, so the Honami will be at least 11-12mm thick but it won't be much thicker than the 7.9mm thick Xperia Z?

Triluminos sounds good, but from some initial reviews it looks like the cost and effort to use the QD filter does not pay off in the end (i.e. it's not as good as it sounds like it would be). On the other hand, IGZO is the best screen ever according to some people. I'd rather have the IGZO screen to be honest.

Software only needs to be well optimized and have a clean/elegant design. Along with Sony's apps that's enough on the software part. Skins and features are useless. All those extra features are gimmicks, Android has all the features you'd ever need the way it is. Just look at how much hype/excitement vanilla Android causes and how many people downloaded launchers like Nova, Apex and Holo. Imo most people don't care about most of the features companies put on their smartphones. It's the HARDWARE and OPTIMIZATION of the OS that matter the most and the apps that make use of key hardware (camera app, music app etc). This is Android we are talking about, any feature the user really wants can be added latter through 3rd party apps! No need for pre-installed battery draining gimmicks like Samsung's, LG's and HTC's!

Beauty is relative, but I do know Sony designs are top notch so I have no problems with that

OSS makes the lens thicker, IBIS FTW

btw OSS = optical steady shot (used on new cybershots / NEX)
IBIS = In Body Image Stabilizer (used on A-mount cameras)
