For me it's simple:
Old hardware = goodbye SE, rather for ever. I mean, screwing it NOW means they're the most stupid, dumba..s company ever existing.
It's utterly unbelievable that a new device supposed to be top competition on the market, has such an old platfform. So, I just don't believe it.
IF THIS IS true though, it's more than pathetic.
The only sentence coming directly from SE camp makes me a bit afraid: on the chat with SE, a man asked about future UiQ flagship answered that all that is delivered by X1.
In fact WMobile on SE was highly ubelievable rumour yet became true.
The only reason for that would be SE's major strategy switch and target Xperia as the power-leader.
But again, I don't believe it..
P.S. I'm sorry, but I don't remember PK saying anything what haven't been said before about Paris and never sharing with any real info....

I've been a fan of the P series when I bought my P900 and eagerly awaited the P990 (to major disappointment).
Nearly bought the P1i but figured rumours of a P5i would keep me holding onto my cash.
I understand
's decision to put out the P1i ... it's a bug fixed, improvement over the P990/M600 but it's like the P910 compared to the P900 ... better but not massively different.
Common sense surely says the replacement for the P1i has to be a major improvement in hardware, if not
only have themselves to blame and UIQ without a good platform seems doomed.
Well it's been a long time coming, I hope the wait for the P5i is worth it but if this fails to be a flagship phone them I'm off to look at the 3G iPhone.

Pete, I hope that wink means "everything's gonna be much much better than expected" because otherwise, many of us SE lovers might stray away after so much disappointment for the longest time. Man, is this a sad day for me or what...
