@Gucci: Vodacare, at Vodaworld in Midrand should be able to take care of your phone's firmware...there's probably been several updates already.

@francois: Maybe you could help our newest member out regarding the latest firmware and bugs.

@ doc,
Meant to ask you, what's the story about the haunted tree in the village that you're currently posted at?

@ wazarmoto,
Welcome back, and you're the first on this thread to own a P990i, if I'm not mistaken. Hope this much-discussed smartphone really serves you well. Let us know how you're finding life with the latest P-series offering.

Not sure if you're bothered with wallpapers, themes etc for the P900, but you may want to check out http://www.zedge.net .

The UK's Carphone Warehouse's in-store sale is in full swing. For a top-up of £10, a sim-free D900 now goes for £159.95 (approx R2240), the K750i for £79.95 (approx R1120) and the W810i £129.95 (approx R1820).

Moto's RIZR now costs the same as the W810i, thus a massive price drop for this handset since becoming available not too long ago.

The K800i (sim-free as well) in either brown or black now goes for £179.95 (approx R2520).

Man, apart from the W700i, 's are holding their value here much longer than either Samsung or Moto...again.
