Unfortunately it's not fixed the random reboot problem - just tried to download the Gmail app (http://www.gmail.com/app now they've finally got it working for the K850i)

Hi Alan, I cant get gmail to work at all, it installs the software but wont let me access messages, I think its something to do with the k850 having 3 function buttons. Do you know anyone with a k850 who has got it to work?

AJ

Go to http://www.gmail.com/app on your phone, and download the file.

It should work fine

I can confirm that Gmail, Opera Mini and Yahoo!Go run smoothly on my K850i R1CA037. No issues at all.

So should I be able to update my Vodafone branded phone on SEUS now then?

I'm running R1CA029, but it keeps telling me that there's no update available.

@sam1981
I just tried to update my phone again and it's saying "update not available", whereas yesterday it was letting me do the Recovery update as many times as I like.

I think they accidentally let us do this recovery update as it wasn't ready and now they've stopped it.

Just updated my Orange UK branded K850i via the SEUS. It wasn't allowing me to yesterday afternoon.
