They have absolutely no need to do what they did and to add insult to injury they did it to HTC, Samsung don't have a single OEM to worry about in Android, okay maybe Huawei and LG may pose a bit of a threat , especially in China, but other than that? Nah, all they have to worry about is No.1 Apple and No.2 Nokia, and even No.2 isn't in the greatest of shape right now.
A very stupid, nasty and unnecessary tactic used by Samsung Taiwan there, it's the sort of thing Microsoft would do to Google.

WRT Apple, there has been rumours of them having many major review sites such as Gizmodo, Stuff, CNet, Engadget etc... on a pay roll to write great reviews for their products, again, Apple like Samsung don't need to be doing this, their products are great and sell themselves.
These big and successful companies have a tendency to get extremely greedy, they are all greedy of course but they get worse when they are successful and can resort to some silly and questionable tactics.

If it's anything like previous Samsung late stage FW leaks then it should be very stable for daily use, I remember running the 4.1.2 leaked GS3 FW late last year, the one that brought some Note2 features and it was excellent
,wish I still had my GS3 just to try this FW out on it.

Thats fantastic news Tsepz.Have you heard anything about its Big Brother the Note 2.I have also used Samsung leaked firmware from Sammobile before and its stable enough to use before the REAL DEAL arrives.Going to pop in to Sammobile to see if theres any news on the Note 2's 4.2.2 firmware.

4.2 for the Note 2 shouldn't be far off Hobbs, maybe in the next couple weeks we'll see a leaked FW for it to. The Note2 is more similar and probably just as complex as the GS4 to make FW for due to all the new sensors and stylus so 4.2 may take a little longer to arrive.
