kev u were saying how calm i was about my site the other day.. today i lost my patience in respone to having my help desk queury deleted:

THIS IS REGARDING BARGAINHOST IN CASE ANYONE STUMBLES UPON THIS WITH VIA A SEARCH ENGINE REQUEST

"Are you deleting them? Am I annoying you by asking the status of my site as it's been down for 9 days now? I mean I send 1 email a day to see what is happening, as there are only rarely updates on your site. Most of my submissions don’t get answered and now they just seem to get deleted.

To be honest this whole thing is depressing me now. I wanted so much for your hosting service to be OK. Just ok not non-existent. I cannot afford to move hosts and lose all the money I have paid you in advance as I have children to look after.

I expected at least some support and i would have continued my subscription with your company if I got at least a little but as it is its non existent along with my site (which when up is down at least daily) and it's is only recently you have even bothered answering any help desk questions (i give you credit to answering them for the last few weeks at about a 30% success rate) but before that I NEVER got a response.

Now you may think I’m moaning but look at it form my perspective... I pay you for two years hosting and receive this:

a site that is constantly down
a site that has been hacked
no support whatsoever
and now no site at all

What would you be thinking in my situation? You would probably be a lot more upset than me!

It wouldn't be so bad if you supplied regular updates to the progress of the server and site restoration but 3 updates in 9 days is not sufficient i think.

You should at least tell your customers the truth. There is no point in saying the site will be back up in a few hours only 6 days later to still be waiting - it's called managing your customers expectations. all you do by not telling the truth is anger your customers even more than just letting them know the real situation.

All I can say now is that there is no way on gods earth I can ever recommend your hosting service to anyone as the service is truly disgraceful. I have been patient for 9 days (7 months if you count the total lack of support).

I don’t expect the earth forum you just my site to actually be online.

Rant over but I couldn't help it after seeing my questions are deleted without response and I know this wont make a blind bit of difference as you have my money but it may provide food for thought.

Have a nice day because I’m not

Ed Merry"

Anyone still awake, i'm meant to be revising, but its getting boring

@Andy: Yeah andy, the deal is almost complete, 85 pounds for the 128mb duo, gonna collect them tomorrow, hopefully, unless the deal back-fires

@John: What time do CPW stores usually open on a Saturday? As i'm planning on getting the software upgraded tomorrow morning, so i get it back before the end of the day.
