My very first MTN number has been re-sold to another person... by MTN. So I will get an Etisa version and just use a pen to edit my complimentary cards.

IF LADIES WERE BANKS AND BANKS WERE LADIES IN NIGERIA

The tall slim ones will be -- Skye bank;
The robust and spacious ones -- Oceanic bank;
The ones that move from one relationship to another--Intercontinental bank;
The silent but dangerous ones are -- Firstinland bank;
Those who are not cute yet they love being heard --Bank PHB;
Those who stick to one man -- Fidelity bank;
Those who seem caring yet debit you massively for every affection -- UBA;
Those that go to any extent to make you happy and sad--Zenith bank;
Those who are old yet they don't realize they are extinct like the dinosaur
-- Union bank;
The brief and summarized ones -- Micro Finance;
The huge ones that ''stand gidigba for ground'-- Firstbank;
The beautiful, reserved and homely ones -- Diamond Bank;
The ones that must spend their annual vacation abroad even when the husband is broke -- GTB

The offer is a week old. They sent it to my wife's phone but not to me. I am yet to take up the offer meself... I just have had no time. The Zoom office is near Banex Plaza... just after Coscharis Motors.

@All The Etisalat entry in Wikipedia has some interesting sections like:

The type of content that is restricted by Etisalat includes:
-Pornography
-The entire Israel country code top-level domain (.il)
-Some media-sharing websites (such as flickr.
-Anti-Islamic websites
-Websites criticizing the United Arab Emirates (uaeprison.com, hetq.am, and arabtimes.com
-Anonymous proxy sites (such as vtunnel, pzeg etc..)
-LGBT websites (such as Gaydar, Mogenic etc.)
-Numerical IP address links (for example, http://255.255.255.255/)

and.....

Etisalat has been criticized for many reason over the past years. Some of the issues include:
-Above average telephone charges, especially in the case of international calls (although this, as of recently, can be attributed to the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority which prohibits price-wars between the UAE's telephone companies) although they have special offers that compensate for the not so high-price calls.

-Excessive delay in paying for PTCL, Pakistan Telecommunication Company which it bought. It got its contract renegotiated after the sale took place, which has been heavily criticized within the country.[41][42]

-Proxy blocks websites usually through an automated system which is prone to mistakes; though, the company doesn't take long time to respond to questions and inquiries about the blocked websites. They also block some YouTube videos and user pages.

-The nature of the routing Etisalat uses means many users go through a single IP address when accessing the internet, in cases of vandalism, this means many users can be banned due to a single user's activities

-Blocking all Voice Over IP (VoIP) communication which allows users cheaper international calls, such as Skype and Yahoo! Voice.

-Very poor customer service and the absence of any customer care ethics.

@coolapostle: There's a problem with the Wikipedia link you gave. It should be pointing to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Etisalat, I believe.

If the information on that page is anything to go by, we might as well stop expecting anything from Etisalat. Not that I was expectant in the first place.....

Welcome back home Coola, howz madam and the home front?
I also use multilinks sierra wireless aircard, but I have a problem with it. It works perfectly whenever I'm in Lagos, but when I try to use it in Benin, it says check username and password. Multilinks staff are at their wits end as to the solution to this problem.
What is Reltel/Zoom data tariff like?

@Yom Thanks for the correction.

@Amby Zoom had a weekly plan for 2.5k for 24 hours. 10k for the month.
Multilinks is still the most cost effective. With Internet Connection Sharing, you can share the phone with all the users on your network. Not bad for N200 per day. Someone hinted me about how you can go on and on for two whole days on Multilinks: just don't disconnect!
