Peter - Once you gone with the P-series, there is no going back. At least not for me.

I have had P910 for 14 months.. now I use Windows Mobile 5.0 based Pocket PC phone, I've no regrets that I'm not a P-series user anymore...so this is all matter of personal preferences

Feel sorry for the Nokia fan boys, the UIQ driven 6708 never even surfaced..

Hi, that's probably because you either use the PPC "as is" or you only install and actively uses only a couple of apps at any one time. The great thing about P910i and future P990i smartphones is that one can have at least 15 apps and 25 apps running actively in memory respectively, without the need to close any of them so often due to either not enough memory to multi task, or memory leakage that causes the phone to crash.

Try installing 15 quality apps into a PPC and set them to auto run at boot time, then continue using the phone and see how long it can last before giving you messages of "crtitcal low memory", etc...

Just curious.. Which 15 apps does one need to run at the same time? Any examples? Serriously..

And I even more curious about 25 apps case. It's probably good for pick-up girls in a bar. "Hey baby, look at my P910, it has 25 apps running on it!! Would you go in bed with me?" ))

I'm beginning to lose interest in the P990 already. Anyone else? One might equate this to the "blue balls" syndrome. The release is apparently pushed back for an additional 2 months at the least. At this point it might help to know what the cause of the delay is. I don't expect these tips to come from SE, but at least some in the "know" can drop us some nuggets.

19 months of dicking around with this P910 is getting old at this point. I look forward to another 2 months with it if it's still in one piece. But I clearly don't give a shite anymore. Wake me up in 2 months..

In all honesty, the p990i delay is a bummer but when it is released i will surely buy one as i have done with all the P series so far. It is a quality phone with many new features which are causing the delay but it will be worth the wait.
