I need some help not mobile related but some off topic.
I got a crossed cheque (HDFC Bank). I have an account in States Bank of India (SBI). Can I deposit the cheque to my SBI Account. Then how many days or time will it take to transfer the amount to my Account?

As we can see most newcomers here dont even wanna go thru the thread and end up asking for help right away on their first post. If only they had the patience they could surely find the information they wanted. There are already several posts with repeated information on spartan's trick here on this thread and at this rate this thread will get bloated unnecessarily. SO NEWCOMERS PLS HAVE A LIL PATIENCE AND GO THRU THE THREAD (ATLEAST THE FIRST FEW PAGES) BEFORE POSTING YOUR QUESTION. . .

Dear santan,
Now we landed in Bank... ??? Hope spartan will come up with this new topic... Hehehehehe... Jus kidding
Yes u can deposit... Once u deposit cheque in ur SBI account.. SBI will send cheque to HDFC for clearance.. and then HDFC will respond to SBI.. Then SBI will credit the amount in ur account.. This is process is common for all banks.. Duration may differ slightly.. Normally it takes 2 days for local cheque & 4 days for out station cheque...
For exact duration, you consult Help Desk in ur SBI branch...
Hope I solved your query...

@ stayback to access yahoomail and hotmail in ur connection settings where u define proxy and port settings ,there is an advanced button there check in the option use same proxy server for all protocols.I think it will solve ur problem.
For the attention of all single channel gprs access phone users (like nok 6020,6021,3200etc)u cannot access free net using spartan's trick with only airtel live activated. If somebody is using this trick on these phones it is bcoz of reasons
1.NOP is activated 4 them and r using airtelwap.com access point
2.airtelmms.com is still working for them
now the only trick tat work on these phones is the bruteforce method
