That's with "old" battery tech. Newer battery tech brings in much greater efficiency and stamina

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the battery capacity stated in the 3000mAh ? Doesn't matter what technology is behind it (except for maybe faster charging, lasting more cycles, taking less space etc), the "stamina" is still 3000mAh!

Well it's kinda like a 2ghz quad core CPU from 2 years back is not the same as 2ghz quad core CPU of today

I don't have specific details but in simple terms, Honami will have significantly better battery life than Xperia Z/Htc One and Galaxy S4

maybe it is a factor of s800, the screen and stamina mode that give it better battery life.

Seems like C680X is Honami and C683X is Togari.

how about C670X ? is there any product with this code name ?

I think [ Honami = C670X and Togari = C680X ]

it make more sense in such an order, however this only my guessing I have no source to rely on

Last piece of Info - XR5 as well

There will be optional lenses for Honami, Interchangeable lenses like NEX/Alpha. Probably something like you have with Iphone third party lenses.

Probably won't have anything else to share for quite some time

Are we expecting honami to come also with a teleporter and google maps plugin to choose a location?

All of this breakthrough new hardware sounds a bit to good to be true.

It's all true though.Almost 100% confirmed hence XR5.

I'm sure the Honami will have better battery life than the Z, one and S4. The Honami will have larger capacity battery, from 400-700mAh more, clearly adding more life. if the screen is more efficient which I would imagine it will be, there will be savings there of course, and finally if the radios inside are more efficient, that should cut down on battery drain as well. So the only place sony can save on battery drain is in the components, a different battery technology shouldn't decrease battery drain, capacity is capacity in the end.

Any new tech would probably bring a faster charge which would be nice.

As for any software gimmicks to improve battery life, sure it can be done easily, by killing some processes or putting them into standby in order not to drain but that would only increase battery life in stand by mode, and not when the phone is being actively used which is where the biggest drain is.
