Thanks for the warning but I'm just going to test something.
I'm having problems with infinity focus. I already tested lots of drivers. I don't think my hand is the problem because I already tried infinity + timer but still there is blurry on my pics. AF also can't focus correctly..
I hope not a hardware problem..

did you changed the sharpness of driver? set sharpness=5 and test

What's wrong about using linux? It's 'almost' same like windows. Anyway, that's camdriver topic, not the operating system one. Ofc it's harded to make linux stable then windows.
Btw. It's Debian Etch, kernel 2.6.18-6-686 + Beryl-manager.
@pic, they are great, cause of camdrivers modder's work.
