Those pictures look bloody amazing, some of the best I've seen.
It looked like a good day out too!

@goldenface, it was a top day out. A very nice collection of British metal. You can see more here:

I used number1's 2.7 driver, but the sharpness is due not to the driver, the sharpness value is unchanged. It's just a plain old steady hand that these pics are sharp. I've found with the K800 holding the camera steady is more important even than K750 if you want clear shots.
Even with standard driver I've managed to get clear shots, so I think this obsession with sharpness that some driver modders have is misplaced. Increasing sharpness just compensates for not holding the camera steady, but the cost is increased jaggedness and rough edges. I prefer the natural sharpness level, you get a smoother pic.
This pic for example is from an unmoddified driver:
I've swapped back to original driver, I'll do some comparison pics to compare 2.7 to stock. I'm not sure, but I think the colours in 2.7 are too purple.

So much for the "low quality cmos" myth. This is as good as reasonable qulaity 3MP digicams of a couple of years ago. For a camera phone to be only two years behind consumer digicams is pretty good imho. You could equate the size of the actual camera components within the phone to something like a Sony Cybershot U30. It produces similar quality photos, though U30 is only 2MP. So the K800 has a much larger and clearer view finder, 8 time more onboard memory, much longer battery life, 3MP, faster data transfer by cable, higher resolution video, AND it's a phone and mp3 player.

After much hassle and configuring I took this great shot with Number1 cam drivers, cloudy setting, macro mode and a steady hand.
Let me know if you want the fullsize version. It makes a fantastic wallpaper.

Some more of some fruit. The first one I like a lot more than the second one. Second one looks good on the cellphone screen but when you see it enlarged you can see it was slightly starved for light and I may have bumped up the brightness too much.
