yah the 8mp ones are definitely better than the 20mp ones. hopefully that will change with updates.
i'm guessing these pics are also off a proto firmware too..

800 / 850 / 900 / 1700 / 1800 / 1900 / 2100 / 2600 and C6906 support LTE
700 / 850 / 900/ 1700 / 1900 / 2100 / 2600.

US Tmobile LTE only uses band 4, which is fully supported by C6903. If you want to use Tmobile, you're fine.
If you wanted to use AT&T LTE, you would need C6906, since AT&T uses 4 and 17.
