is X10 still worth buying? specially it will be updated to 2.3
I am Considering X10 and Neo for my Next Phone
X10 Cost $330 only and Neo Cost $525 a very big difference in price, although X10 may not have Bravia Engine, Exmor R Sensor, True Multi Touch Sensor and Lower GPU compared to new Xperia Lineup
but X10 got bigger screen and large 1g ROM vs Neo
and i have a few questions about X10 Dual Touch, does it works fine in most Games? specially First Person Shooter or any game requires atleast 2 touch.

X10 DT will probably not work as well as you want it to in games. It will zoom in and out fine with pinch-zoom but anything requiring things like holding one finger on and tapping with another finger won't work so great i.e. not at all, also anything that require the axis of the two touch points to cross each other won't work perfectly, sometimes the axis will get confused depending on what you're doing.
If the front facing cam is not a concern to you I'd consider arc. The spec is more or less the same as neo only the front cam is missing, it has a nicer design and bigger screen, other differences are quite minor. If cost is more of an issue I have an X10i up for sale at a reasonable price.

I bought X10 right after the 2.3 update announcement. The price was 230Eur for a brand new device with guarantee. I am quite fond of the phone, dual touch works fine, but I personally find the "SE zooming" better. One finger only, hold it for a moment when looking at a picture then move upwards for zoom in, downwards for zoom out. To me works better than pinch zoom. The screen is quite power hungry, but has a superb sun readability, the best i have seen around for years. Although overall it is hard for me to judge the screen against NEO as I didn't have a chance to compare. One thing i would be a bit worried about NEO screen is the gap between LCD and touch panel, but again, cannot serve with any direct observations. Speed and stability of the phone is just fine. I use Adv.task killer, but use it very very rarely as the phone can manage the applications good. I turned off timescape and most of the automatic updates, use facebook for android instead and that works for me very well. Installed "Arc homescreen and widgets". I didn't root the phone and i dont intend to. With 2.3 update around the corner for me, as a standard user, just no need. Most of the things the 2.1 lacks from stock i can have with apps (imediashare is just great DLNA server, pda net for GPRS modem...).
Overall i consider my X10 a great value for money, with probably not loosing too much when selling it next year and going for Arc or SE dualcore solution (surely they pack one out).
And if can squeeze Ricky D a bit, I am sure he will give you a good price.

I use MyPhoneExplorer, Google's backup didn't do me any favours so I've turned off syncing with that crap.

to tobias84 ->
I dont do google/facebook synch. I Like my contacts private and separated.
Two "hardways" I recommend:
- simply go to phonebook, then press "menu" button, "more items", and "backup contacts". What the phone does, it stores all your contacts as .vcf files on SD card, including all details. After upgrade, just go back the same way, but press "import contacts" and you will have it back on your phone.
- Transfer your ALL your contacts via bluetooth to another phone (i have used my old N5530). Same thing happens, e.g. the phone will send all your contacts as .vcf files to the other phone (BTW. This much more usefull when transfering contacts from any another phone to X10). Then send all contacts back to X10 after upgrade. It receives and saves all .vcf files on SD card (folder "bluetooth") and again if you let "import contacts" to phonebook, X10 will find those on SD card.
