First time I'll be bringing a phone for a firmware update too :-\. Well really it's the first phone where I can see there might be a benefit. my T28 not included since I wasn't in KL before this

Yes you need the warranty card only during the first time.
And no I haven't got my K700i updated yet. Most probably getting it done this weekend when I'm free.

my HBH-60 is also having its moods of late!!!
so i was gonna settle for a HBH-65 this week, having found one with a pretty good offer. that was until i saw mr. waja's post - akono for rm399 at ericserve!!!
man, that's a steal!!! izzit even here yet???

Anyway I'm going down to EricServe this weekend to upgrade my K700i firmware (hopefully)!

Well finally went to Ericserve today and got my phone flashed to the latest firmawre R2E011. Nothing to say as yet, but i'll see whether that GPRS bug is sitll there when I get some more credit
.
Oh and yes the Akono headset is being sold for RM399 at Ericserve.

Guys, I've updated my K700i & the R2E seems nothing great. Fyi, the GPRS & the browser problem is still not fix yet. Bluetooth still got problem transferring sound to headset. The only fix is the call list so far. Still a long way to go.. For the Akono headset, I suggest you guys hold on as it's unstable.. very unstable.. only works well with T610, Z600, PX00.
