I tried posting last night, but it wouldn't. Could only read.

This forum is here to discuss mobile issues, but we are a bunch of odd friends that despite being phone geeks can talk about other things as well. Nothing wrong with that is there? I am more likely to skip info on a new phone i am not interested in than skipping whatever personal blurbs the guys post. That is why this forum is so good.

So the article on time's website i linked to is in this weeks issue. Got pictures of it,will post them later. Okay, i am really busy, so later.

@786KBR: Cricketers should not cop abuse from spectators for simply doing their jobs. Herschelle should not have called them "animals" but I understand in what context it was said. Try abusing a Pakistan player next time you're in Lahore and you'll get way more than being chucked out the ground.

The idiots will always be amongst us, doubtlessly. They'll find any reason to use the race card whenever things aren't going their way. Sorry to say it but i don't tolerate their shit even for a moment. Usually i'm a pacifist but when somebody starts using race as an argument i give em hell.

Absolutely, and I also agree with Siosal with the example that he posted. It's total bull when someone is accused of (automatically) being a racist because you've had obvious reason to confront someone of another race about something that they have done that is dangerous or wrong or whatever.
Fair enough, unfortunately SA's chequered past has instilled many pre-conceived notions in some people, but the word 'racist' is, on occasions like the one Siosal mentioned, too easily bandied about, the word being (ab)used as a reactionary tool to threaten (ie. legal action or prosecution) and/or generically label! How bloody wrong is that?!

The media made it out to be a racist comment.

Yeah, the media have their portion of the blame I guess. Sensationalism and bad news sells well, doesn't it?

The UK's Carphone Warehouse has just dropped the price of the Z710i, now selling for £99.95 (approx R1400) on PAYG when bought with £10 airtime:

No network branding either.....keeeewwwl.
They only stock the 'twilight black' one, not the 'metallic sand' colour.

Yeah, i get tired of the race card. I get ticked when anybody can not give a logical arguement to what they are argueing for. A chap at work seriously argues stupid cases and cannot give arguements that would hold ground anywhere in any situation. Reason is that there is a white rules attitude. We still have a long way to go, but i think we have made excellent progress since the end of apartheid. Not without bumps on the road, but all roads that are worth travelling seem to be of the bumpy type.

Our power is out. Sounds like it could be really wide spread. The mint a block away is shining bright, but to the south, if rumours serve right is about 8-10km of blackout, and even further from east to west. This might be the biggest blackout this area has seen in ages. And if those stats are right, it is a good 1/6th of Pretoria that is in darkness. It sucks. My battery is not on the full side. Hope it lasts past 12 though.

Later then. Want enough power beyond 12 tonight.
