Your phone has BROD.
Run PC suite and reflash your phone. If your CDA is supported, SUES will reflash it for free. But if it is not supported u need to reflash it via davinci or KK client but u have to pay with a credit card. My K850 is dead too but i dont have a credit card to buy credits so am just waiting for sues to support my CDA.

i dont think its brod because the lights dont stays on they go off straight away but my phone doesnt carry on starting up... ive had brod before and have it relfashed since using davinci but this time i dont think it is because it wont connect to my computer and the lights dont stay on...

Both are the same. 035 is for unbranded generic, 036 is for 3 Hutch-branded phone.

Not sure if DaVinci supports this but you can try connecting the phone while holding the 2 and 5 keys instead of the C key. I have had to do this on my phone when normal methods failed but that was using SETool. Still worth a try I suppose.
